Payments will be done through PayPal. You are required to have a PayPal account.
If you’re a new customer, then a 25% deposit will be required of you before work is started on your order. The remainder of your payment will be expected upon delivery of the finished transcript, when you will receive an invoice.
Dropbox is the online-based host that I use for file transfer, which takes the hassle out of transferring large files. I’ll email you a link once you’ve placed your order. Simply click on it, and it’ll open a tab in your browser where you can upload your files.
If you have a video already uploaded to YouTube or some other accessible platform, then I’ll simply request the link and work off of that.
Standard verbatim allows minor edits for smoother reading, such as eliminating false starts, uhs/ums or ands/buts from the beginning of sentences.
“I don’t know if I agree with that statement. I’ll have to think about it and get back to you. If you don’t hear from me by Tuesday, give me a call.”
Strict verbatim includes everything: false starts, uhs/ums, and any necessary tags, such as [coughs], [laughs], [clears throat], etc.
“Um, you know, I don’t know if I agree with that statement. Uh, I’ll have to think about it and get back to you. But, like, if you don’t hear from me, you know, by Tuesday, give me a call.”
Time codes are inserted into the document at regular intervals, usually every 30 or 60 seconds, or they’re specially edited to appear in your YouTube video as subtitles. They’re an additional cost because of the extra time and software required to add them.
